Prompt: Create a travel app for adventure travelers.

Timeline: 6 weeks

 

Initial Assumptions:

Adventure travelers travel often. 

Adventure travelers often travel impulsively not allowing much time to research.

People like to do things within their own interests even when they are traveling.

 

INITIAL PROBLEM STATEMENT:

How might we highlight hotspots and trending events in a curated way for a seasoned traveler?

Research oBJECTIVE: 

To learn how adventure travelers travel and what they need in a travel app that is not existing in the market already.

 

Research Plan:

Qualitative interviews: 5 target users and 3 outliers

Competitive Analysis: Direct and Indirect

Usability Testing: 10 random sample users and 10 ideal users

 

Target users:

Women

25-36 y/o

Travels 3+ a year

Have a global network

Heavy social media users
